MEET THE PARTNERS

Ashley M. Powell has a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from Clemson University and a Master of Urban Design from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. She is certified as a City Planner through the American Planning Association, an Associate member of the American Institute of Architects and a Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt with a decade of experience in the public sector. Ashley maintains active memberships in the Congress of New Urbanism, International City/County Management Association and Urban Land Institute and was recognized by Columbia Business Monthly as one of the city’s Best and Brightest in 2019. 

Ms. Powell is passionate about the nexus between policy, place-making and Public Administration. She is expert in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives and possesses extensive knowledge and demonstrated proficiency in the areas of long-range, neighborhood and comprehensive planning; project and program management; budget and grants administration; organizational leadership, policy development and constituent services.

Clayton T. Voignier has a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Economics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, a Master of Public Affairs from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, a Master of Business Administration from Pfeiffer University in Charlotte, North Carolina, and a Certificate in Municipal and County Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He is a certified Compliance and Ethics Professional, Government Auditing Professional and Six Sigma Green Belt with twenty years of experience in the public and non-profit sectors. He is also certified in Essential Facilitation and as a Leader-Practitioner in Disaster Recovery. 

Mr. Voignier is passionate about innovating the practices of governments for the benefit of their policy-makers, executives, administrators, and ultimately, citizens. He brings a uniquely broad perspective through his knowledge of and project experience in a wide range of public sector service areas, including budget, community and economic development, criminal justice, finance, health and human services and procurement. His primary areas of expertise include strategic planning, continuous improvement, project management, performance measurement, program evaluation, compliance, and contract management.
